Our Mission

Happy. Healthy. Active.

I started TIDLOS to help people live happy, healthy, and active lives — through supplements you can actually trust.

That sounds simple. But if you've ever bought a supplement, you know how rare trust is in this industry. Products are made with ingredients that haven't been around long enough to know if they're safe over time.

The marketing makes wild claims that can't be measured or verified. And when you actually use the product, you're left wondering if it did anything at all.

TIDLOS exists to do it differently.

The Problem

When the Goal Is Margins, the Product Suffers

Most supplement brands aren't owned by the people who built them. They're owned by private equity firms and venture capital groups whose job is to maximize return on investment.

That's not a conspiracy — it's just business. But it creates a specific incentive: reduce cost per unit, increase perceived value through marketing, and scale fast. The product becomes a vehicle for profit, not performance.

When financial institutions own a brand, every decision filters through one question: does this improve the margin? Not: does this improve the product?

Owned by Financial Institutions

  • Optimize costs → cheap ingredients
  • Vague labels → hide what's inside
  • Marketing covers the gap
  • Testing rarely published
  • 15-ingredient formulas with fillers

Founder-Owned

  • Optimize product → real ingredients
  • Full transparency → nothing to hide
  • The product speaks for itself
  • Every lot independently tested
  • Fewest ingredients possible
Our Approach

Supplements Athletes Actually Need. From Ingredients You Can Trust.

We don't start with what sells. We start with what works. Every TIDLOS product begins with a single question: what does an athlete's body actually need, and what is the cleanest way to deliver it?

That's an essentialist philosophy. Rather than building a lineup of 30 SKUs with overlapping ingredients and marginal benefits, we focus on fewer products made to a higher standard. Each one earns its place.

Our energy gel is a good example. Most gels are built on maltodextrin — a cheap, ultra-processed carbohydrate that spikes blood sugar and often causes GI distress. We use raw honey as the primary fuel source: a whole food with naturally occurring enzymes, antioxidants, and a smoother glycemic profile. We add high-quality electrolytes and 80+ trace minerals from Great Salt Lake mineral concentrate. Nothing artificial. Nothing unnecessary.

Our protein powder follows the same logic. Grass-fed whey from New Zealand — one of the cleanest dairy environments in the world. We don't add thickeners, gums, or artificial sweeteners. Just protein, real cocoa, a touch of coconut sugar, and Himalayan pink salt for electrolytes. Five ingredients. That's it.

This isn't about being minimal for aesthetic reasons. It's about refusing to add anything that doesn't serve the athlete. Every ingredient has a job. If it doesn't, it doesn't get in.

We publish full ingredient breakdowns, sourcing origins, and third-party test results — not because regulations require it, but because we believe you should know exactly what you're putting in your body.

The Founder

One Person. Every Detail.

TIDLOS is a one-person company. I develop every product myself. I use them daily. I own 100% of the business — no investors, no board, no one to answer to except the people who buy what I make.

That's not a limitation. That's the point.

I don't have margins I need to hit for a board meeting. I don't have pressure to launch 50 SKUs to justify a valuation. I just need to build a business that sustains over the long term — and the only way to do that is to make products worth coming back to.

I work directly with my manufacturers and understand every step of how each product is made. I know where every ingredient comes from, how it's processed, and what it looks like before it goes into a bag or a packet. I'm not outsourcing this to a team and checking in quarterly. I'm in the details, every day.

The Standard

This Is What We Hold Ourselves To

    The Journey

    Small Now. Building Something Big.

TIDLOS is small right now. One person, two products, zero outside funding. That's not a limitation — it's a choice.

I'd rather build slowly and get it right than scale fast and cut corners. The goal isn't to become the biggest supplement company. It's to become the most trusted one.

I'd rather have 5 great products than 50 forgettable ones.

    Apr 2023

I come up with the idea for "Aplos" Meaning Simple in Greek. The logo is designed, but I'm still far-away from creating a product.

    June 2023

I develop my first "product" a Strawberry Protein and sell to a few friends. The Packaging with the zipper on top is not well designed and I have to go back to the drawing board.

    Jan 2024

I've designed new packaging and launch Aplos in Chocolate and Vanilla to the Public!

    Apr 2024

I quit my corporate Job to do Aplos Full-Time. I'm making the protein in my basement

    Summer 2024

I pack suitcases of protein so that I'm able to fulfill orders while traveling

    Late 2024

I launch an Electrolyte Product Made from Whole Fruit + Sea Salt. Eventually I decide to phase this out because the texture and taste wasn't quite right. Another learning opportunity.

    2025

Rebrand to TIDLOS as a result of a Trademark Dispute. I feel this more accurately describes the brand: TIDLOS means timeless -- just like the ingredients we use and the products we create. We also move our manufacturing to an NSF certified facility and sign a lease on a warehouse!

    Jan 2026

I launch the new proteins (same great product but with new packaing I designed). I feel this packaging represents the brand much better -- clean, simple, and transparent.

    Feb 2026

I launch the TIDLOS energy + electrolyte gels. By far my favorite products I've created and I believe is the start of something big. Time will only tell...

    Help Me Build What's Next

Here's the truth: developing new products is my favorite part of running this company. But I'm one person, and my taste buds aren't everyone's taste buds.

I want customers who care about what goes into their supplements to help shape what I build next. Take 2 minutes to tell me about yourself — what you train for, what matters to you, what you wish existed. You'll be the first to know when I'm testing something new. And the first to try it.

    TIDLOS

TIDLOS means "timeless" in Danish. A reminder that the best approach to nutrition isn't new — simple ingredients, honestly sourced, nothing unnecessary. That's always been the standard. We're just bringing it back.
